A place to practice Vietnamese

When it comes to learning language, we all know, if you don’t use it, you lose it. Vietnamese Speaking Club is where we see the most progression from our students. Creating a practical, real life element to what you learn in the classroom.

Each week there will be a different subject, which can be random, or be something that a student needs to practice. Maybe they have specific questions about something they need for their day-to-day life, and how to come unstuck in those times where you can’t find the right words. Speaking Club is designed to be fun and interactive with students of levels.

The Vietlesson team will be there to help you, encourage you and keep the conversation flowing. It also offers a fantastic opportunity for language and culture exchange with our English students too. Every culture is curious of others, and so on many occasions Speaking Club is also a chance to make new friends as you practice. It is also a great way to understand the way that local people talk as formal and informal language changes dramatically through different regions. At the end of it all, this is where your confidence will grow the most. When you are nervous it is very hard to concentrate and you try not to make mistakes. After the first session you will realize that we encourage you to make mistakes.

When your confidence starts to grow, you become more relaxed. When you are relaxed, you remember more of what you have learned and progress quicker. Although speaking club is free, it is important to book through our website.

This is to manage our numbers (normally 8-12) and to focus on quality not quantity. Also if you have a subject you wish to focus on, you can make a request when signing up. So the only question remains… are you signing up for this Sunday @ 3pm to 4.30 pm.
